Local schools | Local families | A brighter tomorrow

WUC Schoolwear

We currently run two shops, one in Birkenhead in the Wirral and one in Mold in Flintshire.

If you’re a parent, you probably know the annual ritual: hunting down the right school uniform, in the right colour, with the correct badge, before the term starts. For many families WUC Schoolwear has become the go-to supplier that takes the stress out of schoolwear shopping.

A Local Institution with Decades of Experience

What began as a small family-run shop has evolved into a well-established retailer offering school uniforms, workwear, scout and guide outfits, as well as a professional embroidery and printing services.

What Makes WUC Schoolwear Stand Out?

Unlike large national chains, WUC Schoolwear is deeply rooted in the local communities. We work directly with schools to ensure that the colours, badges and designs are exactly as required — no guesswork, no mismatched shades of navy. Many schools, such as The Birkenhead Park School, even list Wirral Uniform Centre as their official uniform supplier.

For parents, that means guaranteed compliance with school dress codes and one less thing to worry about. The shop also offers online ordering, with options for home delivery or click & collect — a lifesaver for working parents who can’t always make it into town.

Don't be fooled by other suppliers

We take your school uniforms extremely seriously and this is backed up by our fast and friendly customer service. Nothing is too much trouble.

We are very well established and have been in business for decades.
